ada-comedy-of-errors

A big comedy of errors by an employer that wants to obey
ADA laws.

The employer installed an alerting fire alarm on a wall
behind deaf employee’s desk.

The deaf employee told the employer he does not have eyes
in the back of his head.

The employer then moved the alerting fire alarm on
a wall opposite the deaf employee’s desk, but behind
a wall column.

The deaf employee told the employer he does not have the
x-ray vision of a Super Man that can see through the
walls.

Finally, the hearing employer got the message – simply
installed the alerting fire alarm on the wall where the
deaf employee could see it.

The employer had to pay the same electrician three
times for a simple task. All he had to do was to
ask where the alarm should be mounted on the wall,
but he never did.
