Do wear clothing colors that contrast the skin

Do not wear striped, flowery, polka dot, plaid
clothing

Do not wear long earrings, bright nail polish,
bracelets and watches. Simple rings are fine,
though.

If something is distracting to the deaf eye,
hide it.

Dress according to the event – formal for
religious events, court appearances and
business meetings. Casual is fine for
sporting events and work places.
