In a job interview with a deaf applicant, the
interviewer can and cannot:

1. cannot ask questions about the applicant’s

2. cannot ask if the applicant uses a hearing
aid or a CI

3. can ask if the deaf applicant needs accommodations
such as a video relay, an interpreter, captioned
training films, written notes, etc.

4. can ask if the deaf applicant can do the job
(job skills and/or job knowledge)

5. cannot make public information the deaf
applicant tells the interviewer
