deaf-licking-party

Dunn & Co, a company located in Clinton, MA has a niche
in the book publishing industry. This company manually
corrects book publishing errors – such as replacing pages
that contains a misspelling – such as New Yourk.
When a Deaf Book contains an error that is too
obvious, the publisher would let the error go. Correcting
the error can be quite costly.
Not with a deaf organization that was to distribute
a book that was just published and in which it contained
a glaring error.
The organizational director gathered the members
together and said “we are having a licking party.”
Licking party? Sort of, these members spent one
full day in one room with long tables, pasting over
the page with the error with a corrected page onto
these books.
Either method is labor-intensive.
