Amsterdam Rugmakers (NY) was a minor league baseball team, member
of the Canadian-American League (Class C) between 1938 and 1940.

 

The owner of the Rugmakers team was Richard E. Turner. He was
deaf and owned the team from 1938 until his death in 1940.

 

It was a New York Yankee farm team.
