A deaf woman who is an account executive that deals with
international transportation logistics, said that she
deals with discrimination every day.

She wears two hearing aids, trying to function as a
hearing person.

In her career she worked under different managers.
Some managers were supportive while others were
not, pointing out to her missed voice messages
as “example” of not paying close voice attention!

She had to fight off efforts to have her removed
from her position, but with laws and regulations
she was able to hold on her job.

And not making things easier are impatient
clients that demand quick results with these
complicated logistics issues.
