Martin Haptonstall, Richland, WA, was potentially
the best deaf rodeo performer. He was a rodeo star
at Spokane Community College during the early seventies.
His best events were the bareback bronc riding and the
Brahma bull riding events. And he was ranked as one of
the top riders in the Pacific Northwest.

Things were looking up for him.

Unfortunately he was killed in an automobile accident.
