deaf-sports-biggest-snub

Rageev Bagga has suffered possibly the biggest Deaf Sports
snub.

An outstanding badminton player from India, he won two
national (hearing) championships – in 1992 and 1993.

Normally the #1 player should be selected to play in the
hearing Olympics, and it was his lifelong dream.

He was never selected despite his two national championships.
He has complained loudly, accusing the government of
discriminating against the deaf.

He no longer lives in India, having emigrated to Great
Britain.
