Detroit Association of the Deaf (DAD) was founded in 1916 and are still strong with a loyal membership. To provide membership facilities for meetings of various activities of the deaf, social gatherings for mutual pleasure, interest and welfare of the Deaf community, and to provide social, athletic and intellectual activities.
