ASL is not easy to learn. But one ASL instructor,
who did not want to be identified, said there is an
easier way to learn signs.
Let the ASL student point to something and the ASL
instructor will sign something. And the ASL student
will practice on the new signs repeatedly until it
becomes “perfect.”
Examples of pointing at are:

– at a dog
– at a car
– at own head
– at an airplane
– at a police officer
