field-hockey-extinct-sport-in-deaf-schools

Field hockey was once fielded by several East Coast schools
for the deaf. One such school – Pennyslvania School for the
Deaf had strong teams in this sport, winning most of their
contests.

Not any more. Field hockey has been an extinct sport.

The last school to play this sport before dropping it
was Austine School for the Deaf. Their last season
was 1986.
