Jim Kyte played in the National Hockey
League for five different teams between
1983-1997 as the defenseman. He was
not the most graceful player on the ice
but was valued by his teams for his
muscle and bulk (6’5 tall and 225 lbs).
He did not hesitate to use his fists
during these frequent hockey fights.
He was deaf, but functioned as a hearing
person and did not use ASL.
