Lyle Olsen, a deaf resident of Gallatin County
in Montana, was member of the county posse
during the sixties and seventies. Member of the
posse help the law enforcement in a variety
of duties – such as serving warrants, crowd
control during heavily attended athletic events,
etc. In Gallatin County, the members of the posse
used horses as their primary means of transportation.
