— Deaf Halloween

Halloween is an annual festival that many people,
both deaf and hearing, participate – all for just
fun and games. What about Deaf Halloween?
Freddy Krueger’s “Nightmare on Elm Street” has
one deaf theme. An enemy wanted to get rid of
Carlos. He was given a hearing aid, but instead
it was a “noise machine” that messed him up!

— A football coach given a bath

It is a tradition that the football team which
wins the game would give the winning coach a
Gatorade bath. All coaches know it and they
cannot avoid it. Well, the football coach
at Louisiana School for the Deaf is
Susan Gremillion. It is rare for a woman to
coach a football team. So, did her team
dunk her with Gatorade after each win?
Yes, they did!
