most-unusual-football-games-vs-hearing-school

During the 1961 football season Washington School
for the Deaf played LaCenter JV team. The score
was a 13-13 tie. The Washington players were not
too happy about the tie and wanted to do something
about it. The LaCenter varsity had an open
date on their schedule and agreed to play
Washington as a last minute opponent. Washington
won the game 13-8.

Go figure – Washington could not defeat a JV
team but was able to defeat a varsity team
from the same high school!
