One of the food carts in Saigon is operated by

The Bachelor New Zealand TV contest program.

The deaf community of Singapore is mourning the

AN ALMOST PERFECT BUSINESS FOR THE DEAF
What is a perfect business for the deaf. Owning a
dog kennel. Dogs bark all the time and these loud
barking noise would not bother a deaf person.
Why is it an almost perfect business? Because the
deaf person cannot hear the dog cry or whine. When a
dog cries, it may be for a good reason that the deaf
person may not know about.
Yes, we do have a deaf owner of a dog kennel in
Florida. It is owned by Ernesto Freye.

A HEARING LEADER WITH NO BACKGROUND IN DEAFNESS
Many hearing people that are superintendents
of schools for the deaf or of deaf service agencies
have backgrounds and experience working with the
deaf.
They take deafness classes at college and have
degrees that qualify them for work with the deaf.
Many, but not all of them! In one state, a
former florist was appointed as director of
state deaf telecommunications service.
Did that person have background or experience
with the deaf? No.
Why was he hired? State politics is the reason.

Rene Pellerin’s Corner:
The midterm election is on November 6.
States and towns are trying to improve accessibility for
all people.
Unfortunately, being DeafBlind I couldn’t vote independently.
I voted early due to my travel plans.  Do vote regardless!
Information is being collected by the State to help improve
accessibility.
Rene’s show business started in year 2010 and it focuses on the
Deaf-Blind.
