The United States Football League was a spring time pro
football league that existed between three seasons, 1983
through 1985. One of the owners was Donald Trump!

Anyway, the league had one deaf player – Yancey Sutton,
a starter at linebacker for University of Florida.

He played one season with Memphis Showboats. Injuries
prevented him from having a longer football career.
