Between the seventies and nineties, CFL has had a
number of deaf players. One of them was punter Brent
Matich.

He punted from 1989 to 1996 with the Calgary Stampeders
and Saskatchewan Roughriders. He punted 1032 times with
a 41.9 yard average over his career.

He was deaf but functioned as a hearing peerson.
