Bill Ramborger, who had a productive four season football
career at Gallaudet University (1962-1965) scored
a touchdown on a kick off return the first time he
laid his hands on the ball as a rookie player.

Gallaudet played Cape May Coast Guard team in 1962.
They kicked off, and Bill returned the ball 80
yards for a touchdown. He created a sensation on
the campus, as fans wanted to know who that player

Gallaudet, unfortunately, lost the game 26-22
in the season’s opener.
