1. recruiters do not really welcome the deaf

2. employers do not really know how to deal
with the deaf during orientation (despite
availability of interpreters)

3. Hearing employees do not always welcome
the deaf and make them feel at home

4. During work emergencies, hearing
supervisors ignore the deaf, not bothering
to explain what was wrong and what is really
going on.
