Some people that work at medical clinics can be
totally clueless!

A deaf-blind woman made a medical appointment
and requested, in advance, an interpreter that
specializes with the deaf-blind.

She arrived at the clinic and the medical
people gave her iPad that can be used with a
VRI interpreter.

The angry deaf-blind patient explained that
she couldn’t see the VRI and needed a
real-live interpreter. Still the medical
people did not fully understand what she
was trying to explain.

At any rate, she was forced to reschedule
the appointment with the promise from the
staff that a live interpreter will be used.
