Years ago Henry was a popular comic book and a newpaper
comic strip feature. While it has waned in popularity,
approximately 75 newspapers still run these old time
strips. The last Henry drawing was during the 1990’s.

Carl Anderson was credited for creating the Henry
character – a bald headed kid who was always getting
into trouble.

Which Carl Anderson was it? Was he a hearing cartoonist
or was he a deaf cartoonist?

Comic book associations have said Carl was hearing.

North Dakota School for the Deaf have claimed Carl
as one of their top alumni members. The deaf
Carl was a talented cartoonist, so was the hearing

Because of lack of clear-cut identification, the
Henry creator continues as a mystery.
