-- Netflix in trouble with the deaf again
Netflix in trouble with the deaf again? We all
remember that this company refused to caption
their DVDs not too long ago. There are deaf people
that love music and are frustrated that Netflix
will not caption the songs. Why? Netflix said
they don't have legal permission from songwiters
to caption the songs! There is already talk of
another legal action against Netflix!
-- the smiley and the deaf
Many people, the deaf included, use smileys
:-), :), or (: in emails, to show happy face
or sad face. Japanese people, emailing each
other, also use smileys, but it is different.
These Japanese smileys are (*_*), (")(-_-)("),
(T_T)). It was designed and developed by
Wakabayashi Yasushi. He is deaf.
