He attends dance events in small towns in the state, dancing as many as 4 or 5 times a week. He is such a well known figure in these dance halls that many hearing women love to dance with him. He continues dancing until the program is shut down for the evening/ One time it was 7 AM! He cannot hear the music nor knows the beats, but his eyes quickly pick up the action and he knows what dance it is. And many women, knowing of his deafness, would gently cue him into the right dance. Ted must be a young man, dancing so often? No! He is 63 years old. To stay in shape for these dances, he works out at a gym on a regular basis. He has been at it for four years so far.   Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/deafdigest1 Twitter: @deafdigest 12/29/13 Blue edition at: http://deafdigest.com/category/newsletter/newsletter-blue-newsletter/ 12/29/13 Gold edition at: http://deafdigest.com/category/newsletter/newsletter-gold-newsletter/
