-- acting roles that Marlee Matlin turns down
Many actors turn down acting roles for reasons
of their own. There is one acting role that
Marlee Matlin woul not accept. It is these
"poor, deaf victims." She said it is because
these roles have already been done." Starving
actors do not turn down roles; well-established
actors can be picky about their roles. And
Marlee has been an established performer for
years.
-- FCC is angry about one thing
FCC is angry about one thing - sloppy captions
that deaf viewers have a hard time following
and understanding what is being said. FCC
said there will be new rules to make
captioning better. What are these new rules?
Do not know yet because FCC has not yet made
an official announcement.
