-- 11 brothers and sisters
Yesterday's DeafDigest mentioned Geeta, the deaf woman
was trapped in Pakistan for 13 years, after straying from
her home in India. It was learned that she has 11
brothers and sisters in her family in India. Is it
possible that her parents did not want to bother
looking for her because of her deafness and also
because they have 11 other children to worry about?
If so, what a shame!
-- already 2000 media images for deaf filmmakers
we have many deaf amateur filmmakers; whether they can
make videos that are marketable is another matter.
Anyway one British company has come up with 2,000 video
images to help deaf filmmakers anywhere in the world
to communicate with the hearing professionals in the
media world. Not sure exactly how is this going to
work, but DeafDigest editor is no filmmaker.
