were inside a Parma, Ohio gas station, making a
purchase and visiting their friend, the owner. A
robber walked into the gas station and shot the
owner dead, and pointed the gun at the father
and the son. Both men fought back and overcame
the robber, knocking the gun out of his hands.
The police came and arrested the robber. They
were interviewed by the local media. What was

-- filing a lawsuit against a rude New Jersey judge
A deaf driver, stopped by the police and given summons,
told the clerk at the municipal court that he is deaf
and needed an interpreter. He was told an interpreter
will be there for him. Yet, the interpreter never
showed up. He then told the judge that he was deaf
and needed an interpreter. The judge felt the deaf man
was faking his deafness, and instructed him to just
plead guilty or not guilty. The deaf man refused to
plead anything without understanding what these were
all about. The angry judge screamed at him, saying
"That's a lie! You can hear me!" Even when the deaf
man showed him his hearing aid, the judge still felt
his deafness was a fake act. He forced the deaf man
to take the stand, without an interpreter. And
while his traffic charges were dismissed, the deaf
man felt humiliated - hence this lawsuit!
-- best Mac tutors are deaf tutors
People buy Macs and often need assistance while using
that laptop. Apple has hired a number of deaf
tutors that communicate with hearing customers.
The deaf tutors use a MacBook and use it like
an instant messaging machine. The Apple store
in the Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC said
their deaf tutor is the best one they ever had.
Said a hearing customer at a store in Canada,
"It was one of the most amazing experiences I've
had shopping."
