DeafDigest Mid-Week edition, May 5, 2016   -- Deaf Rallies, successful or unsuccessful Was the Deaf Rally successful? Yes, because it reached all state capitols. Unsuccessful? Well, in the independent movie "My Father Die" the main character became deaf - and - mute at the age of 12 because of injury in a fight. Did he also lose his ability to talk or was the writer simply saying that all deaf people are also deaf mutes?     -- a big corporation is very angry A big corporation is very angry at 50 Cent for mocking a deaf man, and posting a picture of him on Instagram. The angry corporation is EFFEN Vodka, which has a contract with 50 Cent to appear on magazine and media ads.
