A hearing friend of DeafDigest editor passed away this
week.
It was hard on DeafDigest editor because the hearing
person always updated him on things that were going on
in the neighborhood, the neighborhood gossip, the
local political issues, etc.
Other hearing people did not care about DeafDigest
editor and ignored him, but that special hearing friend did.
Was that hearing person fluent in ASL? No, he knew
no signs - but always communicated with DeafDigest
editor on everything!
