-- Motion Picture Association of America threatens a lawsuit
In Hawaii, there is a new law that requires companies,
owning two or more theaters, to inform the public of
scheduled open captioned movies. The Motion Picture
Association of America is very angry about it,
threatening to file a lawsuit. They are arguing that
the Hawaiian law cannot exceed the federal law, which
only asks for caption viewing devices.
-- Apple Watch Sport perfect for the deaf-blind
A deaf-blind woman purchased Apple Watch Sport and
says it is perfect. She is able to tap on it to
tell her where to walk, to communicate, etc.
-- deaf thief's broken hearing aid
Thabo Masilo is a deaf thief in Botswana. He
was arrested for stealing stuff. His hearing
aid is broken, and he told the judge he needs
to get it fixed so that he can follow his
trial in the court. The judge agreed to
delay the trial until the hearing aid is
fixed! How long will it take for the hearing
aid to be fixed? Three months! Remember it is
not in USA.
