-- secret deafness message in an airplane
The London Southend Airport people have a plan
for passengers to tell the airplane people of
their deafness or other disabilities without
saying anything! To see how is this possible,

-- deaf patient in TV emergency room
Code Black is a TV drama about emergency room
patients. A deaf actress is being brought to the
emergency room, after rescue from a car that
went into the Los Angeles River. That deaf actress
becomes a big problem for these emergency room
physicians to deal with. That actress is
Marlee Matlin. Always fun to see her act in
another different role.
-- university's deaf science team
It is almost always that when a science team
research a deafness issue, these team members
are hearing. Why not a deaf team? The
Oregon Health & Science University says that
they have a first - a deaf team studying
the inner ear system to find out what makes
people deaf. Just hope it works, not because
these team members are deaf but because
medical teams attack each other politically,
saying their research findings are better
than research findings of other universities!
