-- deaf man living in a doll house
Are we comfortable living in a "doll house" that
measures just 84 square feet. In other words
it is just over 9 feet by 9 feet! Well,
Ryder Patton, a deaf man, quit his job as
teacher at Washington School for the Deaf,
to learn carpentry at Green River College.
He plans to build his own doll house and then
to advocate the idea of living in it.

-- Indiana Attorney General supports discrimination
Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller said Indiana does
not discriminate against the deaf. Yet he has appealed
the federal court ruling which said the local judge
discriminated against the deaf by refusing to provide
him with an interpreter in a court case. Does Zoeller
understand what ADA means?
-- the deaf and the wheelchair
A top American deaf athlete, who does not want to be
identified, told DeafDigest editor of an airport
incident. He told the person behind the check-in
counter that he was deaf. He immediately was
given a wheelchair! He declined the wheelchair,
of course!
