-- Social Security online may be a sad joke
Social Security has changed its rules to require
cell text access. Many deaf people do not have
these cell text phones. And if they wish to
contact social secuirty on-line, they can't.
Already activist groups are complaining about
it for that reason. A picture is at:

-- possibly best truck driving school for the deaf
Deaf people have wanted to drive trucks, but for years,
because of their deafness. Now, they are allowed
to drive trucks. Truck drivers must attend special
schools to learn how to drive these really big
trucks, which looks like these big jets at airports.
Best school for the deaf? Possibly at Amarillo
College (Texas) which operates the Truck Driving
Academy. This program has an interpreter and so
far, since 2014, have graduated four deaf truck
driving students.
-- a game programmer listens to the deaf
Many deaf people love to play competitive games
on computers against the hearing. They have
felt discriminated because the sounds and pings
of these games do not tell the deaf what is going
on, while the hearing knows what it is all about.
Finally one programer of the Escape Game (Knoxville)
have made it deaf friendly. Hopefully other programmers
of other games will do the same for the deaf gamers.
