-- punishment for sloppy captions
The Department of Justice is angry at two
companies - Peapod, LLC and Ahold U.S.A.
because their on-line captions were very
sloppy. The Justice people said ADA laws
were broken because of these bad captions.
As a result, both companies were punished
in a settlement reached with the Justice
Department.
-- a strange reason for Beethoven's success
We all know that Beethoven composed his best music
after he became deaf and that he died a very
bitter man. Was there another reason, a strange one,
for his success? Two doctors and one music expert
are now hinting that Beethoven's possible heart
trouble was the reason for his big success!
Do we believe this story?
