The Holiday Inn hotel chain knows what ADA is all about.
Yet it is surprising that the Holiday Inn at Bonita Springs,
Florida was slapped with a lawsuit. A deaf man checked in
and asked for a TTY device. The hotel didn't have it!
Are we surprised about it or not really surprised?
-- a dumb comment by a hospital about a stolen hearing aid
A deaf woman in New Zealand lost her hearing aid in a
hospital. Her son said it was stolen. What did the
hospital say:
the deaf patient should have left it at home
instead of wearing it at the hospital
This is dumb because if she left it at home,
she would not be able to communicate with the
hearing!
