-- a look at a Deaf Town
What would a Deaf Town look like? Take a look at

-- USA's #1 pro-deaf legislator
We have a handful of state legislators that
are very strong supporters of rights and needs
of the deaf. Most legislators make promises
of deaf support and rights but really don't
do much about it. The #1 legislator is
James Kunane Tokioka, of Hawaii. He has
a deaf son and it is the reason for his
bills that support the deaf. DeafDigest
editor is mentioning it because he just
decided to run again for his 6th term.
-- another opportunity for Spring Awakening
The Spring Awakening play was supposed to be
closed for good. But because of Tony Awards,
the play production people were able to get
enough funding to revive the play. This is
great news for the deaf that love deaf-plays.
