there was a video released of two deaf members of the
ISIS urging the deaf to join them in the fight against
USA and Europe. The video was subtitled in English
and in Arabic. DeafDigest hopes the deaf from all over
the world would know better than to believe these
false deaf promises.
-- the deaf female truck driver
In Australia, there is a serious shortage of
truck drivers, especially in the Outback where
land is huge and population is low. As a result,
the Pilbara Heavy Haulage Girls has been formed
as an organization to encourage females to become
truck drivers. One of the trainees - Candice
(last name not known) is deaf. She has been
driving small trucks for two years but wanted
to move up to bigger and heavier trucks. Before
joining the Pilbara group, she applied for jobs
with 2,500 trucking firms for ten years with no luck.

Comic book readers know that comic book character
Hawkeye is deaf. Now it is said that he was "80 percent"
deaf for a short time because of an injury and then
"went back" hearing and then again, "going back"
to deaf! Should we believe this comic book?
