DeafDigest Mid-Week edition, August 10, 2015 morning   -- sign language class for an auto dealership The Vantage Auto Group recently sold a car to an interpreter. The sales people realized that the interpreter is valued in the Deaf Community, and they decided they should be learning some sign language in case some deaf customers come in, looking for cars. So far, the dealership has had some series of sign language classes.   -- helping the fire department create sign language videos Gracie Gilmore, who is deaf, is a fire cadet with the Southend (Great Britain) fire department. Through her, the fire dpeartment realized they needed to create fire safety videos (fire alarms, fire escapes, safe ktichen cooking, and other fire safety rules.
