-- how did Matt Hamill perform last night in Brazil?
Matt Hamill, the deaf ultimate fighter, fought Brazilian
Thiago Silva last night. Matt lost - the judges voted
30-27, 30-27, and 29-27 against him. Matt said it was
a bad fight that he had to reduce weight, saying it
was his fault for going overweight in the first place,
and that he realized he has disappointed his fans.
- a deaf person wants to become a flight attendant
Could a deaf person become a flight attendant? DeafDigest
has not known of any deaf person that has become a flight
attendant. This is not to say they cannot. Anyway Shuki
Assouline, a deaf Israeli wants to become a flight attendant
but the nation's Civil Aviation Authority and also the
El Al airline both said no. They are saying it is for
safety reasons why a deaf person cannot become a flight
attendant. Shuki is not giving up, though.
