DeafDigest - 10 October 2015

DeafDigest Mid-Week edition, October 10, 2015 morning -- stuff about President Cordano we didn't know about Roberta Cordano is the next Gallaudet president; stuff we didn't know about her? Her father was a much beloved person in the Wisconsin Deaf Community; her mother overcame deaf barriers to reach the top of her field in Hospital Administration. The son of her deaf sister Mary Cordano Dall is a student at Gallaudet, so if she is called "Aunt Bobbi" then it is understandable. The Cordano sisters gave a performance at the National Fraternal Society 100th anniversary banquet that received a standing room only applause from the audience! A picture of her legendary football coach father is at: http://deafdigest.com/1966-wisconsin-deaf-football-team/   -- AT&T is telling T-Mobile & Sprint they were wrong AT&T is now offering deaf wi-fi services; T-Mobile and Sprint both refused and it blew up in their face because FCC has told AT&T to go ahead with it. Angry T-Mobile and Spring are now saying that AT&T did not really follow the rules, despite winning approval from FCC. Sour gripes? Yes!   past Mid-Week & morning editions: http://deafdigest.com/category/mid-week-news/ 10/04/15 Blue and Gold editions at: http://deafdigest.com/newsletters/
