Lexington School for the Deaf moved from Manhattan to Queens. Most likely no decision will be made for several years.     -- a sad irony with an organization founded by deaf The Girl Scouts is a big organization. It was founded by a deaf woman, Juliette Low. And what is the irony? It discriminated against a deaf girl that wanted to join! For almost three years, the deaf girl was not allowed to join, much to the anger of her mother.
