-- deaf people of North Korea
North Korea creates problems for everyone,
but do they take care of their own deaf
people? According to a press release
from North Korea, deaf people work in
a factory that makes plastic goods,
and that it is a source of employment
for them. A picture is at:

-- an interesting interpreting student
One woman is planning to become an interpreter.
What was her background - a family member is
deaf, worked in all types of restaurant jobs,
service industry, cleaning, construction,
caretaker, machine shop and tree trimmer.
Just hope this woman becomes a great interpreter.
-- a mystery about dogs
Some dogs do not bark; either these dogs were
taught not to bark, or it is not in their
breeding to be a barker, or because the
master is deaf! A dog trainer explained
that some dogs may catch on, that barking
may be a waste of time if the deaf master
may not notice it.
