John Kerry, the Secretary of State, remembered that while
he was in the Senate, he gave a speech - regarding the deaf.
He said that he was aware of the heavy deaf population, years
ago on Martha's Vineyard, and that practically everyone used
sign language. How many politicians would remember things
like that?
-- football interpreter lawsuit goes forward
Yesterday, the federal judge ruled that the Minnesota
youth football league must defend itself against
claims of refusal to provide interpreters for two
deaf brothers.
