This means playing a fake-deaf role in an upcoming
movie. This is always a sticky issue in Hollywood
and Bollywood because it robs real-deaf actors
of their jobs. Even Marlee Matlin said, in a speech
many years ago, that actors should be able to play any
role. Not sure if she meant playing fake-deaf roles
or playing any hearing roles? A picture is at:

-- airlines finally MUST show captions on movies
It was announced by the Department of Transportation,
that finally, all airlines MUST show captions on
flight movies when flying across USA. The announcement,
however, does not mention airlines that fly over foreign
waters and land.
-- reason why corporations use temp hiring agencies
There may be a big reason why corporations get new
employees from temp hiring agencies. They think
they can avoid ADA regulations if temp agencies,
not corporations, do the actual hiring. Well,
the EEOC says no, these temps must follow
ADA regulations. There is a court case in
Texas that a temp agency is fighting EEOC.
