-- be careful if you switch from old job to new job
A deaf man, from Tennessee, was working at his old job
but was offered a new job that paid better. He left
his old job and when he reported to his new job,
he was told it was never offered him in the first
place! It was an employment agency that made
the promise but backed out. After being unemployed
for one week, he was able to get placed in a new
job with assistance of another agency. He is now
wiser with these false agency promises!
-- a dangerous hearing aid battery
There was a story this morning of lithium
hearing aid batteries being dangerous. It is
flammable, and also toxic, if accidentally
swallowed by small children!
