DeafDigest Mid-Week edition, July 14, 2014     -- wrong publicity about Derrick Coleman The Seattle Seahawks web site said that their deaf player Derrick Coleman is getting wrong publicity. The Seahawks said that no one says anything about him being a good player but that everyone writes all about his deafness. He would not be with the Seahawks if he was not a good player!     -- a successful deaf businesswoman Janice Fucci, Virginia Beach, VA, is a successful deaf businesswoman. Only this past January she opened her own Janice's Brow Bar business, a beauty salon. Already she has 500 clients. She didn't start out that way, being employed as an accountant in a family restaurant. Anxious to make it big on her own, she attended classes on becoming a aesthetology. She worked for someone else for few years before deciding to go into business for herself.     -- a beer trip to Europe Ken Fisher, who is deaf, brews his own beers under the name - Grateful Deaf Brewing. He has been brewing for a long time. He is making another trip to Europe to brew his own beers at a number of European breweries.
