DeafDigest Mid-Week edition, April 15, 2016   -- third deaf attempt was successful Could a deaf person, himself a school drop out with only 7th grade education, be able to build an aircraft that was shown on Discovery Channel? Saji James, from a small village in India, tried three times to build an ultra-light two-seater aircraft. First two attempts failed because of mechanical and technical difficulties. With the help of an experienced mentor, he was successful on his third attempt. Can he fly this aircraft way up in the skies of India? No. He lacks a pilot's license and is only allowed to fly up to 30 feet in the air!
