An angry critic of film and stage said that because
producers often do not hire deaf actors, the
hearing actors must learn how to fake their
deafness! This comment was made during an interview
in a newspaper that was posted on a web site.
-- confusing Dixie Carter with another Dixie Carter
Deaf fans of pro wrestling that were watching the
captioned wrestling event may either got confused
or got a big laugh. During the wrestling show,
the captions showed a picture of the wrong
Dixie Carter. There are two Dixie Carters -
one is involved with pro wrestling, the other
is involved with political talk show. But
the deaf fans were showed the picture of the
non-wrestling Dixie Carter!
