They are also saying that brainstem implant is better. Do realize that today's hot technology is tomorrow's old technology. So, is brainstem implant the new hot thing in the Deaf Community?   -- best clown in USA is a deaf clown The 2015 Clown of the Year Award by the Clowns of America was awarded Sue Marranconi, Meadville, PA. She is deaf, and has been in the clowning profession practically all her life. She takes clowning seriously, always thinking of new ways to make people laugh.   -- a very special military mission in Australia Special Air Service of Australia (SAS) is a group of elite military fighters, sent to special missions. It is like our Green Berets (US Army Special Forces). They recently trained in an isolated part of Australia, getting ready for their mission in the Middle East. The bus taking these SAS people was driven by a deaf driver!
