People driving on Route 10, entering Texas, will
see the American Airboats factory, which builds
all types of vehicles that travel across the
swamps. In front of the factory building
is a Swamp Monster vehicle. Many drivers
stop and take pictures of that monster!
The person that builds the Swamp Monster
vehicle and takes care of it every day
is Raoul Garcia. He is deaf and communicates
with his boss through gestures. The monster

-- a very nervous moment for a deaf celebrity
Even confident people do get nervous at times.
What is Nyle DiMarco's most nervous moment right
now? That he is dancing with a different partner -
Sharna Burgess because of contest rules that all
competing dancers must switch partners. Look
on the other side - Sharna is possibly more nervous
than Nyle, dancing with a deaf person for the
first time in her life!
-- Facebook helps in deaf bullying case
A deaf student was bullied at school because of
his deafness. He couldn't take it any more and
ended his life. It took place in Ireland.
The bullies have been arrested and are awaiting
trial. The prosecutor asked Facebook for help.
Facebook gave the prosecutor 2,500 pages of
printouts that contained these bullying comments.
